How
do I add photos from my computer?
You will have the ability to upload photos right from your hard drive in .jpg format. It is recommended that you use hi-res jpgs when uploading. To use the
upload feature you will need to be using netscape or internet explorer.
You can access the Image Upload feature directly from the home page, interior
pages and/or Banner Creator.
For explicit instructions,
see our Image Upload Instructions
page.

Are there

What are the
recommended specifications for images I want to upload?
Because the final banner will be up to 15 times the size of the online
version you create, you'll want to upload the highest quality image you
can. We recommend images between 150-300dpi. Your images can be 72dpi,
however, you will want them at a very large size. Keep in mind that the
online banner editing area is much smaller than the final printed banner.
You need to plan for the size of the final banner, not the size of the
online editing area. They are proportional to each other, so the scale
of the images in the online editing area is correct. Just keep in mind
the physical size of the banner you've chosen and how the image sizes
to it for final printing.

How do I know
if my image will be good quality when enlarged?
The eZsign.com system is setup to handle this for you. Simply upload the
largest, highest dpi jpg you have available and we'll do the rest. Our
system automatically creates a thumbnail for use within the creator, but
utilizes your high-resolution image for the final print.

How do create a digital photo from a printed one?
To do this you'll need a scanner to scan the photo into your computer.
If you want to get your photos up fast but do not have a scanner the fastest
way is to take your photos to a place to have them scanned for you such
as "kinkos" or a friend etc.. Tell the person scanning that
the images should scan them large and at high resolution, 150-300dpi,
and that the format is jpg.

Can I change the photos once they are uploaded?
You may change photos as often as you like. Simply return to the image upload page and upload another image. You can also access the image upload feature directly from the banner creator interface.

How long will
it take to upload my photo?
Upload
times will vary depending on the size of the file being uploaded, and
the Internet connection speed. It is not unusual to wait for several minutes
when uploading large files.

Does it matter
what name I use as filename?
Yes, filenames may only include A-Z, a-z, 0-9 and the '-' and '_' sign.
No spaces or plus signs. They must also end on .jpg or .jpeg. Please make
sure that your filename is a unique one. Don't use the filenames of your
digital camera for example or filenames containing only the reg (oe-lao.jpg)
or just simple numbers (01.jpg). There's a high chance that someone else
uses the same filename and the uploaded picture gets overwritten.

I don't see the photos I've uploaded...why?
There are several reasons a photo may not appear. Momentary Internet outages,
browser misfires, incorrect formats, excessive file sizes, etc. The best
thing to do is to reconfirm your file fits the specifications listed on
eZsign.com, and re-upload. If at that point it still does not appear,
you can contact us at 1.866.SIGNSEZ, or reps@ezsign.com
for further assistance.
